As I have undoubtedly mentioned before, I LOVE faces! I hide them all around the house so that they can peek at you unexpectedly from different places and give you a surprise and smile. I found this cheerful Bacchanalian face at a thrift shop for $5.00. He has a part of the carving broken off at the top right, but is very usable (if you like smoking a pipe). I have hidden him among small dried gourds and pomegranates in a large wooden bowl. The colors seem to go together, and he seems to be very happy there!
